Snapshot of poverty in one of wealthiest counties in the country. Median household income in Mill Valley is 2x Marin median income and 3x median income in Marin City. ($142k/$67k/$43k respectively). Link

Snapshot of ethnic/racial diversity in cities around the country. In Mill Valley non-white ethnicities are barely represented. Link

Even though Mill Valley was one of the first in the country to allow girls to play little league, there's still a pay gap.  In Marin, the gender pay gap is 1.26x. (Men earn 1.26x what women earn.) Link  

In other depressing news, globally, women won't achieve parity in our lifetime. The World Economic Forum estimates that it will take 99.5 years to achieve parity. link.
